Kristin Ramsay KMR College Consulting

An experienced and compassionate Ivy League alumna and professional

For nearly 20 years at Cornell University, Kristin has managed undergraduate research and leadership programs. She has interacted with students daily, read several hundred applications, interfaced with faculty on a regular basis, and partnered with admissions officers to select scholars for these highly selective programs. She also served on the Health Careers Evaluation Committee for students applying to medical schools. Through these experiences, she has developed an understanding of what constitutes a successful application, impactful essays, and effective recommendations. She also understands the stressors students face and actively seeks to instill serenity through their interactions.

Kristin received her B.S. from Cornell University before working in Kenya for six years managing an agricultural training program and facilitating staff development. She then earned her M.S. from Michigan State University with a focus on leadership development. Kristin has completed the Independent Educational Consultants Association Training Institute and the Institute for Women's Entrepreneurship at Cornell. She is the proud mom of two children who followed their passions in college. Her great loves include her family, dogs, reading, traveling, and baking.

Find peace of mind in the application process.
